The Dallas Cowboys enter this season with plenty of offensive questions, but one of the biggest may be sitting directly in the middle of the offensive line. Cooper Beebe has the physical tools to become a tone-setter for Dallas. His power shows up immediately on film, especially when he is asked to move defenders at the point of attack. But his development could mean much more than simply getting better play at center.
If Beebe takes another step, the Cowboys may have the flexibility to build their offensive identity around the run game. A stronger interior creates cleaner lanes for the running backs and can make life easier for Dak Prescott in play action. The biggest question is consistency. Beebe doesn’t need to become an All-Pro overnight. He needs to become a dependable presence the Cowboys can build around every week.
If that happens, Cooper Beebe could quietly become one of the most important players on Dallas’ offense. That is what makes Beebe such an interesting swing piece. Dallas does not need him to be a finished product right away, but it does need him to give the offense a foundation. If the middle of the line is stable, everything else becomes easier.
The run game can stay on schedule, play action becomes cleaner, and Dak Prescott is not constantly forced to solve problems before the route concepts even develop. For a Cowboys offense trying to find a new identity, that matters. Beebe’s growth is not just about one position. It could shape how Dallas wants to play every week.
